Gavin is a Staff Player and Ambassador for Taylor Made, Adidas and Ashworth from 2005 until present day. He joined Delgany as PGA Head Professional in 1995 having completed the PGA Training Programme under the watchful eye of Gerry Egan.

Over the past 26 years Gavin has been responsible for the day to day operation of the golf shop and, in that time, has managed a successful retail business and has become recognised as one of the leading coaches in the area. He is currently on the PGA Level 3 coaching programme and has furthered his coaching knowledge by attending and completing seminars given by the world’s leading coaches, including Biomechanics, General Fitness, Putting methods and Practice, Short Game and Mental Approach.

Gavin was elected to the Board of the PGA of Great Britain & Ireland in March 2012 having previously held the following positions:-

– Chairman PGA Irish Region 2007-2012

– Captain PGA Irish Region 2005

– Irish Region Committee Member 1998-2012
